Please join Dr. Paul E. Levy of the University of Akron as he discusses managing stress regardless of its source, but with a particular emphasis on work and how the pandemic has changed our work experiences and expectations. Dr. Levy will suggest ways to help you manage and overcome stress related to our day-to-day activities. Dr. Levy is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and Professor and Chair, Department of Psychology at the University. This program will stream live on the Barberton Public Library Facebook page.


The Vampire Talk

A one-hour program about Count Dracula, the current vampire boom and the enduring appeal of the undead. Mark Dawidziak is the author of such vampire-centric books as The Night Stalker Companion and The Bedside, Bathtub & Armchair Companion to Dracula. He also teaches the Vampires on Film and Television course at Kent State University.

There will be a book signing from 4:30—6 pm in the Barberton Public Library Lobby.
