New Library Apps

The Barberton Public Library has several free apps for reading, listening, and viewing. Four new additions are now available to Barberton Public Library Card holders. Craftsy, Indieflix, Qello, and The Great Courses are now available through the Libby app from the Library.

Hobbyists and crafters can perfect their skills, learn something new, or get instructions on a new project with Craftsy, a tutorial and instructible service previously only available via subscription.

Music lovers rejoice with Qello, a streaming service featuring recorded concerts of today’s greatest bands and performers. See the legends of music perform without paying for tickets!

Indieflix offers independent films and film shorts that are difficult to access freely elsewhere. Watch this streaming service for free, no subsciption needed.

You’ve heard of The Great Courses? Have you seen the commercials for these expensive college-type classes? You don’t have to pay to learn something new, taught by college professors and experts in their fields; when you can attend The Great Courses for free with your Library Card.

All four of these new resources are available through the Library’s Libby app under the “Extras” tab. Don’t have Libby?
