Trashy Crafts November 20, 4:30 PM Teen Room Craft to your heart’s content using supplies from previous programs. Overcoming Obstacles for Middle School September 18 October 2 & 16 November 6 Teen Room This program is led by Child Guidance & Family Solutions to teach middle school students life skills to prepare them for obstacles life may throw at them. Overcoming Obstacles for High School September 25 October 9 & 23 November 13 Teen Room This program is led by Child Guidance & Family Solutions to teach high school students life skills to prepare them for obstacles life may throw at them. Decorate a pumpkin for our contest in October. You can drop your pumpkin off starting October 14. The public will be able to vote for their favorite pumpkins. Voting will be between October 18-24. The judges at the Library will judge the pumpkins in four categories: children, teen, adults, and organizations. The public’s favorite will be the ‘People’s Choice.’ We will not accept carved pumpkins. Check our website and Facebook for updates! Pumpkin Decorating Contest Other Activities Mystery Book Challenge This October, pick up a secretly wrapped book out of the box in the Children’s Department. When you get home, unwrap your book and start reading! Each book has a book review form inside. Once you are finished reading, fill out the book review and return it to the Children’s Department by October 31st for a special prize!
