Local author Timothy Carroll will join us to discuss his book World War II Akron, which tells the stories of men from Summit County who served in World War II. The book features over 100 rare photographs, including one of the best collections of blimp photos ever published. Blimps built by Goodyear hunted German and Japanese subs in the war, and the book is filled with photos of Goodyear Navy blimps in action.
