Strategic Plan
2023-2025 Strategic Plan
The Barberton Public Library began a new strategic planning process in January 2022 to prepare for the future of the Library. We completed the last strategic plan in 2015, implementing aspects of a plan created in 2017. The Library is committed to serving the Barberton community and involving our community in the strategic planning process through a Focus Group and Community Survey.
Lobby Stops
We’re bringing the Library to you with lobby stops!
The Library began doing lobby stops at the beginning of 2024 as a new outreach program to connect with the community. Once a month at our lobby stops, staff take materials out and provide on-site Library services. This ranges from checking out items, placing hold requests, answering account questions, and more. Anyone who has an active CLEVNET library card is welcome to use this service.
Currently, the Library is partnered with Village at Anna Dean and Legacy Health Services in Barberton.
