Jan Apisa will join us to discuss and educate teens on human trafficking, from warning signs and indicators to the most current information on human trafficking. This program is for students grades 7-12.Jan Apisa joined the Victim Assistance program as a Human Trafficking Public Education Specialist in 2014. During this time, she coordinated a 3-month collaborative, Backpage research project of local human trafficking, and in December of 2015, she accepted the nomination to co-chair the SCCAHT Executive Committee. Most recently, she created bylaws for the Summit County Collaborative Against Human Trafficking that were subsequently approved and adopted.
