The Barberton Inn, which was one of the most magnificent hotel structures in northern Ohio, occupied the entire block between Fourth Street NW, Fifth Street NW, Tuscarawas Avenue, and Park Avenue. The Inn faced Tuscarawas Avenue, and the windows on the Park Avenue side gave guests a grand view of Lake Anna. The Inn officially opened on January 26, 1895. On Thursday, join us during our monthly Local History program to discuss the rise and fall of the Barberton Inn.
