Let's send a little love to brighten the spirits of our Barberton seniors who are homebound or in local senior homes. Many of us are feeling isolated during this pandemic, but it has been especially difficult for our seniors who are in residential care. To combat this, we are calling out to our Barberton Library community to make handmade Valentine's for these special people. We will have "BPL loves you!" Senior Valentine Craft Bags available for curbside pickup on January 28. Each bag will contain the colored paper, stickers, and other embellishments needed to make a lovely Valentine card. You may also purchase Valentine cards or use your own materials to make them. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR ALL AGES AND ARTISTIC ABILITIES!
Note: Do not put your Valentine's card in an envelope. Sign your name, but don't address it to a specific person.
Drop your cards off to us between February 1 - February 12 through curbside service. If you choose to put them in the book drop, please put them in an envelope to keep them from getting crushed! On February 13, the Reference Department will package the valentines up and deliver them to senior care facilities and to our Homebound patrons in Barberton. Thank you!
