Pet parents ages 16 and up, E-mail a photo of your pet in their Halloween costume to reference@barbertonlibrary.org All entries must include the following information in the body of the email: • Name of photographer • Contact information: phone number, city of residence • Entries should include your pet’s name and/or short description of photograph             Rules • Entries accepted between October 12,  2020 and October 26, 2020 • Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 26.

Teen Writing Contest

 Show off your writing skills for the chance to win a bag of Barberton goodies! Students in grades 9 - 12 can submit one entry in each of two categories: poetry or short story. Stories can be any genre, including fanfiction and must be fewer that 5,000 words. Choose one of two prompts: Use the following title: The Haunted Library Use the following as your first sentence: The lights went out without warning. All stories must be typed and emailed to Teen Librarian Sarah Granville at sarah.granville@barbertonlibrary.org with “Writing Contest” as the subject.
